This summer, Bar Albert welcomes a landmark local collaboration with Waiheke Distilling Co., bringing island craftsmanship to Auckland’s highest rooftop.

At the heart of it all is Bar Albert Gin — a bespoke London Dry crafted exclusively for Bar Albert by the award-winning distillers on Waiheke Island. Clean, citrus-forward and refined, the gin takes centre stage in The Tāmaki, our new signature cocktail inspired by the harbour that connects island and city.

The collaboration continues across the menu, with Waiheke Distilling Co.’s spirits woven throughout our new cocktail lineup, and special Sunday Spritz menu. To match, enjoy Waiheke-inspired food specials, led by Te Mataku Oysters — half a dozen fresh Waiheke oysters served with a tomato, vanilla & gin salsa, created to pair perfectly with the botanicals in Bar Albert Gin.

From first sip to final view, this is local craft elevated — from ridgetop to rooftop.

Our redesigned Signature Cocktail Menu is named after the landmarks you can see from your seat Sip on Silo Park, Rangitoto Island, Victoria Park - while looking out to the real thing below. Our Classic Cocktails Menu sits alongside it, showcasing timeless favourites done the Bar Albert way.

On the snack menu, expect elevated share plates like creamy Burrata with green peas, basil and tomato, and Waiheke Gin & Beetroot Cured Salmon with potato vinaigrette and crispy seaweed.
